As Digital Product Specialist, and I’m excited to share with you the story behind Grow Your E-Shop (formally Planners to Profits).

My career was spent in higher education as a Hall Director at Northern Michigan University for 5 years and in Academic Advising at a small private college in Madison, WI for 25 years.

During that time, I helped thousands of students of all ages work develop goals, make long-term plans, figure out what they wanted to do with their life and work through challenges.

In 2018, I decided I was ready for a change. Honestly, I was born to be my own boss, therefore, I decided it was time to work for myself.

While I worked full-time over the next two years, I dedicated two hours every evening to build my digital product shop on Etsy.

I started by using my experience in higher education to create two workbooks / planners and a full list of other ideas for planners I thought would be helpful.

But here’s the thing – I quickly realized that creating amazing products is just one piece of the puzzle. Selling them and generating a sustainable income is a whole different ball game.

So, I set out on a journey to crack the code of successful digital product selling. I experimented with different strategies, learned from my mistakes, and slowly enjoyed the success I was working towards.

But, it wasn’t always smooth sailing. There were a lot of moments of doubt, frustration, and even a few sleepless nights.

But through it all, I never lost sight of my goal – to create products that would help others make important life changes and eventually support others in growing their own digital product businesses.

That’s when the idea for Grow Your E-Shop was born. I wanted to create a resource that would teach others the strategies I had discovered along my own journey.

I wanted to share the knowledge, the tips, and the tricks that had helped me sell more digital products and generate more income.

And most importantly, I wanted to do it in a way that was genuine, transparent and easy to understand.
